Rampages,
Franklin Borough School’s student -written
newspaper, features the events, arts, education,
and opinions of the staff and students.
Students plan the issue, research and report
the topics, and compose the articles. They also
assist in the layout and design of the paper.
Photos are taken by students or contributed by
staff members.
Students
report school-wide and classroom events but also
focus on topics of interest. In the 2008 - 2009
issue, students wrote about varied topics,
including faculty professional development,
Honors Band and Chorus, the economy, and
recycling on the ball field. The
issue featured articles about composing
metaphors, Irish dancing, and the power of
persuasive speech.
Rampages
is distributed to each student and faculty
member. There are extra copies for parents and
guardians available at the school, and some are
distributed to the community. Look to
Rampages to present some of the fine events
and student work at our school from the point of
view of the students who make it all possible!
