Today's eighth grade spotlight is on Jessica Loaiza and Lojine Mohamed. Congratulations, Graduates.

Jessica Loaiza - Today's eighth grade spotlight is on Elaina Mercado and Lauren Gallanthan. Congratulations, Graduates. I’ve had many good memories at Franklin. Two of which are completely forgetting where half-court was in the middle of a basketball game, and setting up a mini Christmas tree in Mr. Siegert's room every year. Field Day is also a memorable tradition I’ll miss. I’d like to shout out all the teachers I’ve had for working so hard but mainly: Mr. Siegert, for handling my anger on the field. Mr. B, for handling my anger on the court. Mr. Speer, for handling my anger in the gym and not being angry when I broke two sticks. Ms. Fedynich, for listening to me rant during enrichment. I appreciate them all and will miss them dearly.

Lojine Mohamed - ~“Even though we can’t see the end, we must go to the end”~ Plans after Graduation: Going to Sussex Technical School for AT. Favorite Class: All of them, but if I had to choose one, I would say math.Favorite Memory: When in science class, we were trying to read as much of the Shrek script as we could after we finished our work. Shoutout: My parents and my teachers for being some of the greatest people in what they do. EC Activities: Band, a little bit of basketball, and soccer. Advice for upcoming 8th Graders: Always focus in your classes and do your best. If you plan on applying to Tech, you have to prepare and finish the requirements for Tech as soon as possible so you don’t stress over it.
