Homework Club

The homework club’s goal is to assist students with organizational skills, to provide supervised quiet time in which to finish homework or long-term projects, and to review for quizzes and tests. High school National Honor Society and Franklin National Junior Honor Society members will be present to provide additional support. Homework Club is through teacher referral only. This is a program designed to provide a place for students to get a start on, and help with, their daily homework assignments.  All students are expected to come to the club with all homework materials and a book to read. In order to make this a positive experience for all who attend, disruptive behaviors will not be allowed. If a student is disruptive, the following procedure will occur:

  • First time – Parents/Guardians will receive a warning letter.

  • Second time – Parents/Guardians will receive a 2nd letter dismissing their child.

Homework Club will meet on the following schedule: Tuesday Grades K -2 2:35 -3:05 Wednesday Grades 3 - 4 2:35 - 3:05 Thursday Grades 5 - 8 2:35 - 3:35
